In this series of Grifter comic books, Grifter is a former U.S. Army Special-Ops soldier who deserted and became a con-artist. Assaulted by Daemonites, aliens who can "possess" human bodies. The possession fails and leaves him him with the ability to overhear the telepathic communication of Daemonites. Cash is wanted by several intelligence agencies and his brother Max, also a military special operative, leads a team to apprehend him.
