A continuation of G.I. Joe: Cobra Mini-Series & G.I. Joe: Cobra. After issue 21st issue it continues in G.I. Joe: The Cobra Files.
The series initially followed the members of COBRA during the events of Cobra Civil War and Cobra Command story arcs. At issue #13 the series changed focus to Flint and his covert ops team of G.I. Joes run out of a casino in Las Vegas, with Tomax as an informant/asset.
Note: The original indicia listed as G.I. Joe Cobra: Cobra Civil War, and changed in issue #2 to G.I. Joe Cobra Vol. 2. At issue #13 the indicia changed to Cobra and dropped the Vol. 2.
